My name is Josefina Baluga, and Marte is my artistic name — my creative planet, the place where my illustrations and artworks come to life.

Since I was a child, I imagined other worlds. Creating was always a way to protect myself, to understand what I felt, and to invent new ways of inhabiting what surrounded me. Over time, that imaginary world became my profession.

Today, Marte is more than a name — it’s a way of seeing, listening, and telling stories. It’s the place I illustrate from: stories that connect with memories, desires, and deep emotions.

I work with brands, teams, and individuals who want to communicate something real. I do it through visual campaigns, textile prints, murals, and illustrated content that always begins with one belief: what we feel matters.
